Security first: our LayerZero integration audit
iLayer’s first independent third-party audit is complete. It covers the LayerZero integration, and it is the first of a series.
Security is a core pillar of iLayer. We are committed to a high standard of safety and reliability across every protocol component, and independent review is how we hold ourselves to it. Today we publish the first completed audit, focused on our integration with LayerZero.

What was reviewed
The audit, performed by ABA, covers the LayerZero-powered LzRouter: the mapping between chain ids and LayerZero EIDs, message dispatch through the OApp base, fee estimation, and the reception path that hands incoming payloads to the target contract’s onMessageReceived hook. The report is published on GitHub: iLayer × ABA, LayerZero Integration Audit Report v1.1.

Why the Router first
The Router is the privileged path between chains: it is the one component that every order crosses twice. Whitelisting restricts who may call it, and the bridge adapters decide which messages are trusted on arrival. Getting that layer reviewed before widening chain support was the priority.

What comes next
This is the first in a series of audits. As the protocol expands, with Chainlink CCIP and Across routes on the roadmap and more chains, we will continue to engage external auditors so that the integrity and resilience of the infrastructure keep pace with its surface. Integrators inherit these reviews: a pre-audited protocol is what makes a one-hour integration possible without a custom bridge audit of your own.
